A Class of Conjuring Book Review

Hello Gemmies! I have a entertaining new book review to share with you today. Please note: I received a digital ARC of this book (via NetGalley) from its publisher in exchange for an honest and fair review.

A Class of Conjuring by Evie Wilde is the first book in the Enchanted Academy Series. This was s super fun and fast read. What originally pulled me in was the cover art. The cover is eye catching and immediately lets me know i'm going to be immersed in a world of magic with a female protagonist. The combination of the bright purple and bright blue color scheme is both striking and intriguing. In short, Magically Delicious!

We follow the story of disaster prone witch, Cassandra Clarke who has no control over her powers or spell casting. One catastrophic event after another lead to her getting enrolled in the The Enchanted Academy as a last resort to gain some kind of control over her powers. Cassandra enrolls with super hot bestie Braedon. Of course once at the academy three more hot males all vie for Cassandra's affections and friendship. This leads to a reverse harem situation that to be honest felt a bit forced. I would have also like more details on why certain things happened. Despite that this book was still an action-packed, fast-paced, sexy and funny read. It kept me flipping pages all the way through.

A Class of Conjuring has plenty of action, magic, mayhem, lust, and of course an evil enemy who wants to take over the world. Evie Wilde has built a fun magical system that makes this world feel unique from other series. I recommend this book for anyone interested in magic, action, reverse harems, plot twists, and a plain old good time! Published by Wisteria Lane Press, A Class of Conjuring is available for purchase from all major booksellers. I give A Class of Conjuring 3 1/2 out of 5 gems. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in this witchy series. Happy Reading!
