Creature Feature Friday: Monster From The Abyss Book Review

Hello Gemmies, happy Creature Feature Friday! I have a new book review to share with you today. Monster From The Abyss by Michael Cole is a sea monster horror. Guys, I wanted to love this one, I really did, but unfortunately this book fell flat for me. I didn't care for any of the characters, and the main monster action doesn't take place until the end of the book. Even though Monster From The Abyss is only 181 pages, I struggled to get through it. I usually love all the stories Michael Cole puts out, but sadly, this is not one of them.

Synopsis:

Beneath the tranquil sea, terror lurks...

Its tentacles are strong enough to crush steel. Its beak can reduce a whale to mulch. It knows no fear—only fury. Now, it has risen from the abyss and seeks to feed on anything in this bright new world above. On the island of Diamond Green, it has discovered new prey…

Humans.

If you love cephalopod creature features give this one a try. You may enjoy it more than I did. Published by Severed Press, Monster From The Abyss is available for purchase from all major booksellers. I give Monster From The Abyss 2 1/2 out of 5 gems. Have you read this book? Let me know your thoughts on it. Happy Reading!
