Fox & Rabbit Make Believe Book Review

Hello Gemmies! I have an exciting book review to share with you today. Please note: I received a physical ARC of this book from its publisher in exchange for an honest and fair review.

Fox & Rabbit Make Believe by Beth Ferry is a great graphic novel for younger readers. The format is perfect to get the little ones started reading in graphic novel format. Fox and Rabbit are best friends that share multiple adventures by using their imagination. Each adventure is in the form of a short story. Along the way, they meet a new friend (Owl) and see their old friends.

Each story highlights the aspects of a good friendship like sharing and being supportive. The dialogue is simple and young readers will learn new words that start with the letter F.

The illustrations by Gergely Dudas have a fresh organic feel. All of the friends are adorable, but I love sparrow the best, who can always be counted on for a good food reference. This was a fun, fast read and the perfect story about friendship.

Published by Amulet Books, Fox & Rabbit Make Believe will release on September 15, 2020, and is available for pre-order from all major booksellers. I give Fox & Rabbit Make Believe 4 Friendly gems! Happy Reading!
