Hello Gemmies! I have some great new news for fans of the Parasol Protectorate Universe! In the most recent issue of Gail Carriger's newsletter she announced there will be a new book coming! This time we get Agatha's story. For those who are familiar with the universe, Agatha Woosmoss aka the Wallflower is one of the original characters from the Finishing School series. I can't wait to find out what this brilliant but underrated intelligencer has been up to! A title, release date, and synopsis have not been revealed yet.
The Parasol Protectorate Series series has everything that I love in paranormal books..... historical settings, globe trotting, paranormal creatures, and love, loss, action, intrigue, adventure, gadgets, plus wicked humor. And now, it has been optioned for an animated series by Frederator Studios! There is so much that happens in these books, that I think an animated series is one of the best ways to bring it to life on the small screen. I really hope this comes to fruition soon!
I cannot recommend these books enough. If you haven't read them but would like to, listed below is the reading order to help get you started.
