Sirens of Los Angeles Book Review

Hello Gemmies! I have an exciting book review to share with you today. Please note: I received a digital ARC of this book from the authors in exchange for an honest and fair review.

Sirens Of Los Angeles by Caedis Knight is the prequel novella to Vampires of Moscow. Set is sun kissed Malibu California this book sets the stage for The Blood Web Chronicles series. This novella was so enjoyable I devoured it in one sitting. Sirens of Los Angeles is an engaging, fast paced, page-turning thrill ride, full of secrets, magic, sexy romance, sirens, beautiful beaches, and provocative humor. There are themes of sisterhood, dealing with familial pressure, self discovery, love, betrayal, strength and perseverance.

There is so much to unpack! Let's start with the world building. Caedis Knight has created a lush vivid contemporary world that has a complex magical system, super scary and super sexy monsters! This unique story is not only beautifully written, it is full of diverse, complex, interesting characters. Saskia as a main character is relatable and endearing. She has a laundry list of issues but she's also persistent and never gives up. I found myself fully invested in her and rooting for her every step of the way. For my fellow monster lovers, there is so much paranormal goodness going on I can hardly stand it! We get witches, weres, sirens, vamps....you name it! I am so looking forward to meeting more of these creatures in future books!

If you are a fan of sadistic sirens, witty witches, steamy romance, sisterhood, action, mysteries, page turning suspense, and a diverse offering of paranormal creatures, then go read this book! Sirens of Los Angeles is available in ebook format and will be available in paperback on November 13, 2020! I give Sirens of Los Angeles 5 out of 5 gems. I cannot wait to read more stories set in this universe! Happy Reading!
